Bio

Tin Vodopivec is one of the hottest comedians in Slovenia. With his smart clean observational humour he is popular amongst all generations.

With stand up comedy being unknown and undeveloped in Slovenia, Tin has been one of the pioneers, performing all over the country. From entertaining the prime minister, to opening for Julio Iglesias at his concert in Hala Tivoli arena, to performing in clubs, festivals, corporate events and even fashion shows, weddings and student parties.

In September 2007 Tin was the first Slovenian comedian to perform on a TV night show, where he was re-invited later in December 2007. He also performed on a Sunday afternoon family show on Slovenian national television. In May 2008 he won the Slovenian »Last comic standing competition« and was announced as one of Slovenia's top comedians by Stop magazine.

Tin is the co-founder of Ljubljana’s comedy festival Panč, the first comedy festival in this part of the world. As a producer, director, actor and co-writer Tin worked on an online talk show Gofla that was part of a major national marketing campaign for the Slovenia's largest mobile operator.

Tin performs his stand-up routine in Slovene, Serbo-Croatian and English language. He is currently finishing law school and touring Slovenia with the show Komikaze present: Banzaaai. Tin will be making his international debut on February 8th at the Leicester Comedy Festival.
